This problem is the result of a Windows update by Microsoft and in connection with an update to the Adobe Flash Player to version 19.

There is no known fix for this problem at the time of this message post. Please request an online account to use the Almena Method as the online versions do not exhibit this behavior.

The following screen shot shows what a typical program freeze may look like in your case. This problem will affect ALL versions of the Almena Method that are downloaded and installed on the hard drive of your computer.

It may be that the next update by Microsoft and Adobe will fix this issue, but in the meantime, our developers are evaluating a workaround for users who are experiencing this problem.

UPDATE:
Microsoft updated their system and Adobe release a patched player to correct these problems. These updates were released in October 2015.

Looking at the information below, you stated that "This problem is the result of a Windows update by Microsoft and in connection with an update to the Adobe Flash Player to version 19."

Please can you provide the specific Windows update by Microsoft that really caused this problem?

Thanks

The Adobe Flash Player v19 causes the problem.
Returning to the Adobe Flash Player v18 restores full functionality of the Almena Method program.

PROBLEM:
On windows 8 and 10, the Flash Player update is mandatory by the Microsoft Update system. So there is really no way to prevent this unless updates are turned off and you deselect the Flash player update. However, for security reasons this is not recommended.

On Windows 7 and below, the Flash Player update is a separate process and can be disabled. Here again, this is not really recommended as updates to the Flash Player usually are designed to protect your computer from malicious activity.
