ToolBook Web Content & MS Edge on Windows 10

As you may have heard, EDGE is the new name for the NEW browser that ships with Windows 10.

Does ToolBook web content work with the Microsoft EDGE browser?
Answer: YES!

If you have ToolBook < v10.0, then you absolutely MUST use the PowerPac to make your content work in MS EDGE. Later ToolBook versions should use the PowerPac as well to maintain exported consistency in all browsers. All of this comes as welcomed news to developers who are trying to keep their projects up-to-date with modern standards.

NOTE: You can safely ignore the SumTotal/Skillsoft warning that ToolBook content is not compatible with MS Edge. That would be true if content were not PowerPac-enabled. Microsoft Edge uses the webkit rendering engine so your exports for this browser will not load from the /ie/ content folder. Instead they will load the content from the /safari3/ or /chm/ folders. IE 11 and lower will still load their content from the /ie/ folder and automatically run as HTML 5 or for IE 8 as quirks mode.
