Chrome on Android not detected correctly

Postby Andy » Wed Sep 10, 2014 9:24 am

I have a book that runs in Chrome on an Android device (appVersion 12). When I add PowerPac to the book, I get the unsupported platform message. The message lists Chrome as one of the supported platforms.

I wonder if there is now a confusion of Chrome vs. Safari when checking the device type.

NOTE: Turns out this is not a PowerPac bug.
Instead, this can happen if your target browser is set to Chrome but fail to ALSO check the Android device during export. This post is related to exports created with ToolBook v11.5 but probably affects other ToolBook versions that have an "Android" device option in the list of supported browsers during export.
