ToolBook v11.5 and Patch 4

Please do not upgrade to ToolBook v11.5 Patch 4 as this will disable your content from working in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10!!

If you have already installed the patch:

1. Navigate to the installation folder for ToolBook v11.5. (Usually "C:\Program Files (x86)\ToolBook\ToolBook 11.5")
2. Rename the file "toolbook.jar" to "toolbook.jar_patch4"
3. Rename the "ToolBook.jar_0" or "ToolBook.jar_org" to "ToolBook.jar".
   The file to rename depends on your operating system.

If your patch installation does not have either "ToolBook.jar_0" or "ToolBook.jar_org", please contact us for assistance at [email protected].

As stated in SumTotal's note, they do not support Microsoft Edge due to failed support for ActiveX controls. However, the PowerPac has HTML 5 alternatives for media players (both video and audio). Therefore, you can fully support MS Edge if your export is PowerPac enabled AND you are not using the media players included with ToolBook catalog objects.

UPDATE: The PowerPac v12.698+ will correct this issue automatically.
