Level 0 XML Full-Screen Video Demo (htmlVideoLoader)

Purpose: Create a true FULL-SCREEN video element using the XML <make> tag.
Requires any version of ToolBook and PowerPac v13.018 or greater.

NOTE: Clicking the full screen icon in the control bar of the video will give you true FULL-SCREEN video.

HOW TO DO IT:

1. Create the following XML file using a text editor and name it "video.xml". We prefer the freely available and very capable program SynWrite for our XML file creation.
   
2. Create a single page ToolBook file with a field called "videoAnchor" which is sized for our video. This will only be used as our bounds object when the level 0 XML object is created when the XML file above is loaded. Also create at least one other field and name it "Result" as this will display the user event activity when our video is running. (NOTE: object names must be case-sensitive for this to work properly.)

3. Flag the "video.xml" file and the video "toxic_man.mp4" for inclusion in the [media] folder of your exported demo page.

4. (optional) Create a global variable called "xmlFile" and initialize it as an array.
5. Create the following on load page action to load the XML file.

6. Export your demo page ... turn ON the PowerPac web server (needed for non-Firefox browser support of XML files) ... video will load in the top level OUTSIDE the ToolBook page frame ... clicking the fullscreen icon in the playbar will give true FULL SCREEN video playback ... "Result" field will display the user events that are sent to the level 0 element during playback ... (examine the XML file for additional details showing how this was set up and works; we have fully commented the various sections to make this more self-explanatory).
