It is not necessarily a security risk as long as your server will not allow prying eyes to retrieve list of files in the folder(s). You can set this using .htaccess if you are using a server which allows setting an .htaccess file. Otherwise, you may have to do some searching on how best to accomplish this.

YES! You should begin phasing out FLV files. By mid-2018 and into 2019 some browsers will drop support for Flash. By 2020, Flash is no longer going to be loadable by any modern browser. This advance warning has been issued to give developers plenty of time to make the transition.

I am in fact using .htaccess so everthing should be OK.
