Cannot register Powerpac using Virtualbox

Hi Clifton,

As I am still having a lot of trouble with Toolbook 9.01 I have installed XP in Oracle Virtualbox. I've got nearly everything working I think but I can't register Powerpac. When I enter my code I see this message: 'Server timeout detected. Try again later.' Is there a solution please?

When setting up VirutalBox, you need to make sure you are setting up your network adapter as a bridged adapter and not the default NAT.
That will give you access to full local machine communication which should expose the Internet to all your applications.

Just a though, since I haven't tried this.

It's registered!

Actually I did the opposite of what you suggested and put it back to NAT! It worked immediately.
